Following a deal negotiated with the help of their local Innovation Relay Centres, the firms are collaborating to exploit the latent heat trapped deep below Ireland’s lush green fields. They hope that solutions developed for Ireland could make geothermal energy a major player in the world’s dash for renewable energy sources.
